This is where you blab and talk about whatever you want to talk about (as along as it's clean).  Blab your heart out.

What is your favorite motivational Quote?

One of mines are:

"The greatest waste in the world is the difference between who we are and who we can become."

My goal is to make that difference nil, zero, zilch!

I have a couple of favorites, both by Marianne Williamson:

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God.
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine, as children do.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.
It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” ~ Marianne Williamson

“As we let our light shine, we consciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence actually liberates others.” ~ Marianne Williamson

Thanks, Jay - for getting this started here, and for sharing a favorite of yours!  Do you know who penned that one, I really like it.

Ben Herbster

It was on one of those success posters that were all the rage 10 years ago.

My favorite quote is one I made up:
"You can blame others (or things) for your unhappiness or you can be happy."

Another is:
"Wherever you go, no matter what the weather, always bring your own sunshine."  ~Anthony J. D'Angelo

Thanks Jay for starting this topic.  I love quotes.  I really like the one you shared.  That really is the biggest waste, isn't it!!

I love your quotes as well Lance.  I'm working to eliminate all fears from my life this year (that's one of my biggest resolutions) and these go right along with that.  I especially like the second one.  Very powerful.

Your very own quote is great, Jennifer!  It says to me that we choose.  Whatever the case - it is our choice - that's really a powerful thought!

And I think it all fits very well with your second quote too.

And it all explains why you come across as such an upbeat person - you're living these - and that's what is really very cool - not just that you like these words - that you put them into action - make them part of who you are!

Here is my favorite quote...

"When you come to the edge of all the light you have, and must take a step into the darkness of the unknown, believe that one of two things will happen to you: either there will be something solid for you to stand on, or you will be taught how to fly."

Very neat quote Stacey.  I enjoy flying myself.  Wink
