About me….hmmm…. I recently read somewhere that when you answer the question “Who are you?” that you should answer that according to who you are aside from all your roles or responsibilities. I have to say that I find that quiet challenging…. Maybe I’ll learn more about myself as I type this out.

Well, I feel like I am the most blessed woman in the world. God has been so much better to me than I’ll ever deserve and every day I feel so grateful for all of my blessings and all that he has done for me. I’m so grateful for each new day he gives me and am constantly looking for more ways to better use that time.

I love life. I can’t say that I always have. It’s been a journey. Hasn’t it been for all of us? I used to be a negative person constantly thinking in negative terms. I have to say that I don’t like that part of my life, but I’m thankful for what I have learned from it.

I used to think that life was a lot of luck - that good things happened to the right people and well, too bad for the rest of us. Turning age 30 was one of the biggest turning points in my life. I took a long hard look at my life and asked myself what I had done for those first 30 years. I couldn’t really come up with anything. Slowly, I came to the realization that life wasn’t all luck -that I could make a difference and shape my life into the life I wanted. It was such a beautiful realization and I’m loving creating that life.

What am I’m passionate about? What’s embedded deep within me? A strong desire to make a difference. A strong desire to help people. Mastering inner peace. Helping others find inner peace, happiness and success - Hence the reason for this blog.

Every time I tell someone that I have an online personal growth bookstore and coffee shop the first question that comes out of their mouth is: “How do you have an online coffee shop?” If you are one of those curious people and would like that question answered simply visit our coffee shop and see for yourself. If you are benefiting from this blog and would like to help support it, the best way is to make a purchase there.

I love listening to people, making new friends and being a friend.

What am I constantly working on?

Becoming more and more conscious of my time and learning ways to better use it

Achieving real inner peace,

Being more and more real and transparent and open and honest admitting my weakness

Accepting people nonjudgementally and really trying to understand them.

Improving my listening skills

Seeing the big picture – seeing things in perspective

Getting rid of myself and remembering it’s not about me

Love from a pure heart

Looking for ways to help more and more people.

Among other things I’ve already mentioned, I love God, my wonderful husband, softball, art, hiking, camping, my dog, family and friends, psychology, the study of the subconscious mind, positive thinking, and the study of success.

I have too many blessing to count. I don’t deserve a single one of them, yet God keeps pouring them out on me anyway.
